Type for small brands
Typography is the quietest part of a brand and the one guests read most. A menu, a price list or an opening-hours sign is mostly type. In this workshop we look at why some type feels calm and readable while other choices feel cheap, and we practise with real material brought by participants.
The day
- Reading type: serif, sans and everything in between
- Pairing two fonts without fighting
- Hands-on: redesigning a menu or price list you bring along
- Licensing basics: what you can use for free and where to be careful
Practical
Lunch, coffee and all materials are included. No previous design experience is needed — just curiosity and, ideally, a real project you are working on. Workshops run in English; questions in Finnish or Swedish are welcome.
